Goodwell Launches Family Event and Creates Wonderful Moments

9/10/2018

Multi-sensory learning is regarded to be a more effective way for nurturing the little ones. By encouraging them to learn from the nature and peers, it can help cultivate the little ones with a love of learning in a fun and interactive setting, and take the parent-kid bonding to the next level. This year, “Kid’s Go with Goodwell 2018”, organized by the “Kids Club” of Goodwell Property Management Limited (Goodwell), was back again that nearly 300 parents and kids from its managed properties enjoyed a enchanting day at Sha Tau Kok Farm on 7 October 2018.

We all get ready for a whole day of fun and rejuvenation from the bustling city life! In Sha Tau Kok Farm, it offered a wide variety of activities from guided organic farm tour, animal farms, to workshops where participants learnt to make traditional Hakka dumplings, and much more. The kids understood the concepts of organic farming by getting their hands and legs dirty in paddy field, cuddled up the adorable animals and fed the goats together with their parents in the animal farm, enriching their understanding of wildlife. The participants also joined the class of Hakka dumpling making and other outdoor facilities such as bouncy castles in their free time.

To have a more enjoyable time in nature, Goodwell had especially conducted a workshop of making of natural anti-mosquito sachet, which aimed to help prevent mosquito bites and the infection of deadly disease such as dengue fever. Participants found the workshop very practical and beneficial as there was a healthier alternative to avoid mosquito bites. Afterwards, the participants enjoyed the delicious barbecue food and the event concluded with an exciting lucky draw.

Established in 2014, Kids Club aims to provide a platform for kids to unleash their potentials and learn through play. The number of members has already increased to more than 1300 kids over the years. In response to the overwhelming support from occupants, Kids Club arranges a flagship event every year to help the kids to ease their mind with fun-filled program and exploration. Mr. Wesley Sze, the General Manager of Goodwell, added that Goodwell will continue to serve our community and offer inspiring programs for young generations.
